Shipping & Refund Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Most orders begin with a quote or direct conversation. Because custom rods, repairs, and refurbishing projects vary, final payment, shipping, pickup, timeline, and delivery terms are confirmed after BC Rods accepts the order.

Payments and Deposits

Payment requirements depend on the type of work. Custom rod builds and refurbishing work may require a deposit before materials are ordered or work begins. Ready-for-sale rods may be purchased up front when available and after purchase terms are confirmed.

Deposits for custom or refurbishing work are generally non-refundable once materials are ordered, parts are reserved, or work has started. Each situation can vary, and any refund or exception is handled at BC Rods' discretion.

Shipping

Customers are generally responsible for shipping costs unless BC Rods confirms a different arrangement in writing. Shipping method, carrier, timing, insurance, and cost are discussed and confirmed before a completed rod is shipped.

Local pickup or delivery may be available when practical, but availability depends on the order and location.

Transit Damage

If a rod appears to be damaged during shipping, contact BC Rods promptly and include photos of the rod, packaging, and any visible damage. BC Rods will review the situation with the customer and may work toward a repair, rebuild, replacement, or carrier claim depending on the facts of the shipment.

Cancellations and Refunds

For custom builds, repairs, and refurbishing projects, cancellations and refunds depend on the status of the work, materials already ordered, and costs already committed. Deposits are generally non-refundable once materials are ordered, parts are reserved, or work has started, but BC Rods may review unusual circumstances case by case.
